Sunscreen and baby hands?
Posted by adminDo you put sunscreen on your baby’s hands? Mine sucks on his hands a lot and I don’t really like the idea of him ingesting the sunscreen. What do you do with your baby????
No, not usually; I mean, it’s not the most likely place to get sunburn. And the other reason I don’t put it on my daughter’s hands is the very reason you just mentioned–it’s dangerous! We all know that babies put their hands in their mouths all the time, and like you, I do not want my daughter to be eating sunscreen. (A scene from the movie Benchwarmers just popped into my head LOL…) anyway I usually go with putting sunscreen on her arms, back, neck, and face. And the upper part of her legs, too. Hope this helped!

I normally don’t put suntan lotion of my daughter’s fingers but some gets on the tops of her hands – whatever is leftover from rubbing on her arms so it’s not a lot..
