Brands of Sunscreen?

Posted by admin

Does anyone know the name of some brands of sunscreen that contain zinc oxide? I’m looking for something with a SPF 30+ and I live in Australia.

Lately I’ve been using TruKid Sunny Days SPF 30 Sunscreen; it comes in both a water resistant stick and a lotion form. The face stick has zinc oxide in it, but the lotion is only titanium dioxide. Both of them work really well though and are all natural (no parabens, phthalates, SLS or synthetic fragrances). I know they ship internationally if you are willing to pay for shipping. I’d really recommend it if you’re looking for a safe, effective, quality mineral sunscreen! Good luck!

My partner and I are taking our children away for the weekend and we are going to go to the beach. It is almost summer here and it is expected to be over 30 degrees celcius for the time we are away. My 8 month old daughter has very fair skin, so I am quite concerned about her skin being exposed to the sun.

Pretty much anything that specifically says it is for infants (it depends on where you live.. because not every place sells the same thing). Make sure to get a lotion that is specifically intended for the scalp as well.. this area is usually the worse!

Any suggestions to prevent her from looking like a circus clown with makeup.Thankyou.

I use an all natural, mineral sunscreen on my kids called TruKid, and it doesn’t have that problem. It comes in both a lotion which is easy to rub in and a stick form as well which is water resistant. Both have a light smell that comes from only essential oils, so no synthetic fragrances or chemicals. It has no parabens, phthalates or SLS either so it is completely safe for babies. The stick especially is great for little kids because it makes applying it to their face so much easier!
