I didn’t mean to offend anyone who uses Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch sunblock but it’s main active ingredient is Oxybenzone which can actually cause more harm than good. True, it’s non-greasy, photo-stable and absorbs UVB/UVA rays but at the same time it gets absorbed into your body and causes cell damage which can ultimately lead to cancer. It’s a toxic chemical. Stick to physical sunscreen if you have sensitive skin or if you’re prone to allergies because they sit on your skin and reflect harmful rays to protect. You don’t really need a high SPF sunscreen. Anything around SPF 30 is good enough! Higher SPF means more chemicals… and too much chemical is not a good thing.
EDIT: I never said chemical sunscreens are bad. They are photo-stable and work very well. The only ingredient I was trying to raise awareness about is Oxybenzone. As I mentioned, it’s still pretty much controversial. If you use it and love it, then by all means.. stick with it. I just like to play it safe. Please keep in mind that I am here simply to acknowledge. You decide what you want to take away from this video.

Mineral based sunscreen is the only one to use. Minerals are inorganic substances and do not break down in the presence of UV rays. These sunscreens will not leave your skin ‘ghostly white’. These are elegant, silky, matte sunscreens. They are not moisturizers. Sunscreens must be applied to the skin after moisturizers.
